You can delete your Veedly account and the associated data at any time. There are two ways to do this:
In the app or on the web — open Settings, scroll to Account, and choose Delete Account. You will be asked to confirm, after which deletion begins immediately.
On our website — visit veedly.in/delete-account and submit a verified deletion request. This works even if you have uninstalled the app or can no longer sign in.
By email — if you can no longer access your account or have uninstalled the app, write to support@veedly.in from the email address registered to the account, with the subject "Account Deletion Request". We will verify your identity and action the request within 30 days.
When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed: your profile and account details, your Moments, Highlights, Showcases, celebrations and milestones, your uploaded photos and videos, your comments and likes, your direct messages, your saved and watchlisted items, your event plans and guest lists, your device notification tokens, and your location data.
Deleting from Settings first deactivates your account: your profile and content immediately stop being visible to everyone on Veedly. So that an accidental or unauthorised deletion can be undone, you can restore a deactivated account by signing back in with the same credentials. If you want your data erased permanently rather than deactivated, submit a request through our Account Deletion page and we will action it within 30 days, after which it cannot be recovered by you or by us.
Some data may be retained after deletion in limited circumstances: transaction and invoice records we are legally required to keep, records relating to an unresolved dispute, safety or fraud investigation, and content that other users have independently saved or that exists in their message history. Aggregated and anonymised statistics that cannot identify you are also retained.
Deleting the Veedly app from your device does not delete your account. You must use one of the two methods above.
If you would prefer not to delete your account entirely, you can instead make your account private, archive individual posts, or deactivate temporarily from Settings.
